Dress Code

Attire

Two dress codes, for two different days. Neither one requires you to buy anything new.

Dress Code

Saturday, the Twenty Sixth
Cultural Attire Welcome

The favor of traditional or cocktail attire is requested for our cultural ceremonies. Guests are warmly invited to honor our heritage by wearing traditional Indian or Korean garments. For those not wearing traditional dress, elegant cocktail attire is requested. Gentlemen are invited to wear a classic suit with a necktie, and ladies are encouraged to wear a refined knee-length or midi cocktail dress.

A Note for Our Guests: While we are delighted to share these beautiful customs with you, please do not feel obligated to procure traditional Indian or Korean garments for the occasion. Your presence in classic cocktail attire is entirely appropriate, deeply appreciated, and warmly welcomed.

Two days, two dress codes. Neither requires anything new.

Dress Code

Sunday, the Twenty Seventh
Black Tie Welcome

The favor of formal attire is requested for our evening celebration. Gentlemen are invited to wear a traditional tuxedo or a dark, formal evening suit with a necktie. Ladies are encouraged to wear a floor-length evening gown or formal evening attire.

A Note for Our International Guests: For those unfamiliar with local terminology, "Black Tie Welcome" indicates that while the wedding party and many guests will be in tuxedos, a classic dark suit (black, midnight blue, or deep charcoal) is entirely appropriate. Please do not feel obligated to procure a tuxedo for the occasion.

Worth Knowing

Before you pack

Underfoot

The Sunday ceremony is outdoors and runs about thirty minutes. A paved walkway carries you to the site, so the approach is easy in any shoe. The seating stands on grass, however, so a block heel or a wedge will serve you better than a stiletto.

The Weather

Late June in Morgan Hill is warm and dry through the afternoon, and cools quickly once the sun is down. Bring a wrap or a jacket for the evening.

Color

The weekend is built around creamy white, silver, and pearl. Please leave white and ivory to the bride. Everything else is yours, and we would love to see color in the room.

Two Days, Two Looks

Saturday and Sunday call for different dress, so please pack for both. Cocktail attire on Saturday, formal evening attire on Sunday.
