If the answer is not here, write to us. We would far rather you asked than guessed.
Your invitation arrives with a small envelope, and inside it a card bearing a printed code. Open your phone camera, hold it over the code, and a short form opens. There is nothing to mail back. The envelope is there only to keep the card safe in the post.
On the form you may tell us which events over the course of the weekend you will attend, note any dietary restriction, and leave anything else you would like us to know. If the code will not scan, or you would rather not use it, write to us at josephineandkshitij@gmail.com and we will take your reply that way.
Our Indian and Korean ceremonies are held together on Saturday, and the Western ceremony and reception on Sunday. Each asks for its own setting and its own hours, and we would rather give them room than compress all three into a single afternoon.
You are invited to both days, and equally welcome at only one.
That is correct. The card inside carries a printed code rather than a reply slip. Hold your phone camera over it and a form opens. Nothing needs to be mailed, stamped, or returned.
If your phone will not read the code, write to us at josephineandkshitij@gmail.com and we will send a link you may simply tap.
We are keeping the guest list small, and so were able to offer an additional guest only to some. Your invitation names everyone for whom a seat is held.
Where it reads "and guest," please bring one. Where it does not, we hope you will forgive us. There is only so much room.
We adore your children, and we have decided to keep the weekend an adults-only occasion. We hope an evening out is its own kind of gift.
If traveling without them makes the journey difficult, write to us and we will do our best to help you arrange care nearby.
Note it on the reply form, where a field is provided. Vegetarian, vegan, halal, kosher, gluten free, and any allergy are all readily handled when we know in advance. On the night itself there is very little we can do. If you have any additional concerns, write to us at josephineandkshitij@gmail.com.
Cultural or cocktail attire on Saturday, and Black Tie Welcome on Sunday evening. These are two different requests, and both are set out in full on the attire page.
In brief: pack for both days, the Sunday seating stands on grass so leave the stilettos at home, and please leave white to the bride.
Saturday runs the Indian and Korean ceremonies in succession, then dinner. Sunday is about thirty minutes, then the reception. There is a guide to each, should you wish to know what you are watching.
Please do, with one exception. During the vows we would rather see faces than phones. Our photographer has that part in hand.
